10:40am check out is at 11:00am. we were supposed to get up at 8:00am, work out, shower, and go to milwaukee & continue onto chicago. of course this does not happen. we wake up at 10:30am, 10 minutes ago, realize we have no time to even shower. REALLY?, new plan? this is so absurd but obviously have to admit to it. find the cheapest hotel in milwaukee so we can at least have somewhere to shower. these showers better be worth 50 bucks. oh my god. seriously so ridiculous. why why why. why can't we be normal people. ever?
11:22am we have been driving around trying to find a starbucks for the past 20 minutes. erins grandmother gave her a gps before we left wyoming, we swore to only use it for in town things (such as starbucks, hotels, etc...) we were only going to use an atlas for the rest of our road trip, it is our goal. so far we have done just that. with no mistakes. (yet). but this damn gps brought us to two abandoned places in the middle of nowhere, third times a charm. erin ran into target and i just saw a lady walk out with starbucks. hallelujah. off to our milwaukee hotel..haha
1:31pm just leaving days inn. all showered and ready to go. no it was not worth the 50 bucks but whatever. lesson learned. set alarms that you will actually commit to. time to buy our milwaukee beers then finally off to chicago. dear lord this is out of control.
2:15pm i am SO EXCITED! just got 2 milwaukee bests & 2 miller lights. going to miller park and then finding a milwaukee sign. best trip ever.
2:38pm just drank 1/2 the miller light @ the park it's so cute here. contemplated on going to the game today but its at 6pm and we told holly we'd be there around 5:00. off to find the milwaukee sign.
3:07pm drank the milwaukee best @ the milwaukee population sign. just a few sips. mission accomplished. i love wisconsin. today is FUN! sun is shining. we are happy girls. finally FINALLY off to chicago. 82 miles away we are stoked. pumped on being stoked.
